Week 30

Elder Walker and I have found 5 new investigators every week for the past 3 weeks. We`re hoping to see the fruits of that soon.

Alfredo, a less-active member that we found in our first week here has gone to church 4 times, and is going to be rescued this week :)

Manuel passed his interview yesterday, and is excited to be baptized this Saturday! We`re trying to work with his family. He feels sad because his wife doesn`t want to go to church. BUT. His daughter went this Sunday!!  His daughter is way cool, the only problem is that she goes to school in Guayaquil. Sometimes on Sundays /:

President Dennis made a rule about 3 weeks ago that any companionship that doesn´t meet their weekly goals that we set at District Meetings, doesn´t get p-day. So I think that is helping a lot with helping the missionaries be more goal-oriented.

The members have done a fantastic job at helping us find people to teach. We received over 20 referrals this Saturday! We haven´t had much time to work in our area this week, but we were able to contact one of those families and man, referrals are so much better to work with than street contacting.

Well, that´s pretty much all for now.

Elder Najera
